FoMECP AGM will be on Sunday 3 March 2019 at 2pm in the Belvedere Room.

After the formal business of the meeting there will be a short report from The Park Manager, Chris Burton.
This will be followed by refreshments and then a talk by Nicola Moyle, Head of Heritage, Art & Film

Sun, 14 Apr, 2019. Annual Children's Easter Egg Hunt


The Annual Children's Easter Egg Hunt at Mt. Edgcumbe Country Park is on Sunday 14 April 2019.

Collect Clue Sheets from Cremyll Gate between 12.30pm & 3pm. 
£3 per child which includes a medium szed egg!
Please note: we can only accept CASH as we do not currently have any card payment facility.
  • No need to book - just turn up on the day
  • Goes ahead rain or shine
  • Refreshments available
The starting point is 2 minutes walk from the Cremyll Ferry & Cremyll Bus Stop.

There are 3 different routes to choose from this year; the shortest route takes approximately 30 minutes, the middle route 45 minutes and the longer route an hour.

Thu, 16 May, 2019. Antiques Evening


The 'Friends' committee are considering holding an 'Antiques Evening' event, and would appreciate your comments on whether you think this would be of interest to you.

The event will be held in the House at Mount Edgumbe on the 16th May, starting at 6.30pm in the marquee with a cheese and wine reception, then into the House for an evening of entertainment, (based loosely on Call My Bluff!) with the valuers from Bearnes, Hampton and Littlewood.

Cost will be £8.00 each for members, and £10.00 each for non-members for what should be an interesting and fun evening in beautiful surroundings.

The Green Man returns to Mount Edgcumbe in 2019.
Saturday 25 & Sunday 26 May, 10am - 4pm.

There will be stalls, entertainment, refreshments, lots of activitites and of course the Green Man sitting on his throne of leaves and bark.

Entry to the event is free. Parking is £5 all day.
This event is organised by The Park.

Fri, 21 Jun, 2019. Visit to Dartmouth & Britannia Royal Naval College


Meeting at Cremyll at 9.15am we will take the 9.30am ferry over to Stonehouse where a luxury coach will be waiting for us for a scenic drive to Dartmouth.

You should have about three hours to explore the delights of Dartmouth with plenty of time for coffee and lunch before our coach takes us up to the College for a guided tour of about two and a half hours. Departing there at about 4.45pm we will endeavour to be back at Stonehouse in time for the 6.15pm ferry to Cremyll.

All this for £20 incl per Member (£22 for your guests)
