Reduced admission to Wonder Nights at Mt. Edgcumbe for Friends

Wonder Nights is a new event at Mt. Edgcumbe running from 29 November 2018 to 6 January 2019.

Friends of Mount Edgcumbe Country Park have been offered up to 25% off the applicable advance purchase admission ticket rate advertised for Wonder Nights when booking online.

Please get in contact and we will email the promotion code to Friends. Please note the promotion code needs to be redeemed before 30 November, 2018 to save 25% or from 1 December, 2018 to save 10%.

You will need to show one valid FoMECP membership card on the evening when you arrive at admissions.

We have been advised that this offer is valid on any scheduled operating day subject to availability until 6 January, 2019. Excludes all extras, ferry and car parking tickets. It's the Children's Halloween Event next Sunday, 28 October 2018

The annual Children’s Halloween Event is next Sunday, 28 October. Registration 12noon – 2.45pm at The Barrow Centre. £3 per child – a goody bag at the end for all registered. No need to book. Goes ahead whatever the weather! The Trail closes at 4pm. It’s a new route this year.

There will be a fancy dress competition for all ages
This will be held at 1:30 pm on the terrace in front of the House with prizes for the scariest costumes

Don’t forget to bring your coats and wellies in case it rains.

Friends can now get 15% discount on membership to the South West Coast Path Association until February 2019

15% discount on membership of the South West Coast Path Association has been extended to The Friends until February 2019.
The normal annual price is £22 for an individual and £29 for joint members per year. With the discount this becomes £18.70 and £24.65 respectively.

Mt Edgcumbe Park & woodlands closed 12 & 13 October due to forecast high winds

Due to the forecast high winds on Friday 12 October (all day) and Saturday 13 October (morning) the Park and its woodlands will be closed to public access.


Mount Edgcumbe House will be open every Sunday from 7 October 2018

From 7th October, Mt. Edgcumbe House will be open every Sunday offering tours for visitors at 11.30am, 1pm and 2.30pm.
Tours can be booked in advance by calling 01752 822236 or on the day (subject to availability) from the Shop in the House.

Maker Memories display at The Orangery 8 October to 28 November 2018

There will be a display of Maker Memories at The Orangery, Mt. Edgcumbe Country Park from 8 October to 28 November 2018, 10.30am-4pm.
Please note The Orangery may be closed on Fridays & Saturdays for weddings.

We’re looking for volunteers to help with the Children’s Halloween Hunt

We are looking for volunteers to help on the day with the Children’s Halloween Hunt on Sunday 28 October 2018. Help is needed with taking money, route marshalls, parking, handing out goody bags etc. This is always a great event to volunteer at and you get to see some great Halloween costumes!
